Apply for the World Habitat Awards for Innovative Solutions on Housing Challenges (£10,000 Prize)

The World Habitat Awards recognize and spotlight remarkable, ground-breaking, and occasionally ground-breaking housing projects, concepts, and programs from all across the world. Since 1985, World Habitat has operated the World Habitat Awards competition in collaboration with UN-Habitat. During that time, some of the most impressive and creative housing developments in the world have won awards on a global scale. The most exceptional projects and programs will get Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards from us this year.

The two projects that win GOLD Awards are given:

A trophy (given at a global event) in appreciation of their efforts to create and implement good housing practice. a project representative’s travel and lodging expenses to the awards presentation are covered by World Habitat; 10k in prize money; and World Habitat will provide ongoing assistance via our exChange initiative.

Requirements. projects from many countries that:

Focus on providing appropriate and affordable housing, address the climate issue, were started or finished within the previous ten years, work to advance diversity, equality, and inclusion, and were created and/or carried out in close coordination with the local community.
