San Francisco-based Firefly announced that it is officially launching its car-based advertising platform out of beta. The startup also raised a $21.5 million seed round.

Moderna raises $604M in record-setting IPO

Cambridge, Mass.-based Moderna Therapeutics, a biotech developing medicines based on messenger RNA, raised at least $604 million in its initial stock offering, after pricing shares at $23 each, the midpoint of the projected range. The offering sets an initial market capitalization over $7.5 billion and reportedly ranks as the largest-ever IPO of a development stage biotech company

 

Aceable scores $47M as edtech activity intensifies

Aceable, an Austin startup focused on driver education, drove away with $47 million in a Series B round led by Sageview Capital. The financing comes as the edtech space continues to attract high levels of interest.
