Invitation to Afreximbank–AfCFTA Training Programme 16–18 June 2026
The Afreximbank Group is pleased to invite you to the third edition of the Afreximbank – AfCFTA Training Programme under the theme “AfCFTA: Its Genesis, Dimensions and Prospects for African Corporates”.
16–18 June 2026
JW Marriott Hotel, Cairo, Egypt
Organised by Afreximbank’s Trade Intelligence Solutions in collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat and the American University in Cairo (AUC) Onsi Sawiris School of Business, this in-person programme is designed to equip participants with practical, business‑oriented knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving intra-African trade environment, capitalise on trade opportunities, manage export/import operations, including trade finance and supply chain management.
The programme will help translate the various treaty instruments of the AfCFTA into practical language that corporates can easily understand. It will also provide an exposé on the requirements businesses must meet to seize opportunities of the continually expanding AfCFTA market. The training will be delivered in English, with simultaneous interpretation provided from English into French and from English into Arabic, to ensure full participation and engagement.
Who Should Attend:
This programme is tailored for African corporates involved in international trade operations, notably importers, exporters, trade‑related service providers, and export trading companies. The training programme also targets trade support institutions, in particular trade promotion organisations, chambers of commerce, and export and investment promotion agencies. More broadly, foreign trade stakeholders, including executives in banking institutions (particularly banks involved in trade finance) as well as investors and trade attachés within diplomatic missions are welcome to attend the training.
