Grand Winner of SLINGSHOT 2025: – S$400,000 Startup SG Grant Prize Plus 18 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
1st Runner Up of SLINGSHOT 2025: – S$300,000 Startup SG Grant Prize Plus 12 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
2nd Runner Up of SLINGSHOT 2025: – S$200,000 Startup SG Grant Prize Plus 6 months’ rent-free space at JTC LaunchPad
Twelve DOMAIN WINNERS will each receive a Startup SG Grant of S$60,000 (including VAT); this grant must be accepted by the winners in accordance with the relevant terms of the grant.
Each Startup participating in the SLINGSHOT 2025 Partner Competitions will be awarded a Startup SG Grant ranging from S$20,000 to S$50,000 (VAT included); this grant is to be accepted by the winners in compliance with the applicable terms of the grant.
Participants of SLINGSHOT 2025 may also qualify for in-kind sponsored or cash prizes from our partners, subject to the conditions set forth by the Organiser and the respective partners.
The Top 60 Global Startups will be invited to partake in a Physical Immersion programme prior to the Physical Finals. Travel expenses will be covered, subject to the following stipulations:
Only one founder or co-founder is eligible for travel sponsorship for both the Physical Immersion and the Finals.
Travel expenses encompass Economy Class airfare to and from their home country to Singapore.
Accommodation costs for the designated lodging venue selected by Enterprise Singapore will be covered for one founder/co-founder for the entire duration of the Physical Immersion and Finals.
In addition to the one founder/co-founder whose travel and accommodation are sponsored, one other founder/co-founder may join the Physical Immersion programme; however, this additional participant will not qualify for the travel and accommodation sponsorship mentioned above.
Enterprise Singapore retains the right to reclaim the full amount of the sponsorship if the sponsored co-founder/founder is accused of violating any laws of Singapore or breaching any of the terms outlined in these Rules.
Startup SG Grant – Terms and Conditions
The following prizes will be distributed at SLINGSHOT 2025:
Grand Prize: S$400,000
1st Runner-Up: S$300,000
2nd Runner-Up: S$200,000
12 Domain Winners: 12 x S$60,000 each.

ELIGIBILITY – SLINGSHOT 2025

This Competition is exclusively available to:
Business entities, irrespective of their industry. Startups may be required, at the Organiser’s discretion, to furnish proof of (i) company registration by providing a registration certificate issued within the last three (3) months, or an ongoing company registration/business profile, or any trade registry documentation that verifies the entity’s registration in the relevant country.
Any technology-driven startups that satisfy the following criteria are qualified to participate:
Develops or possesses innovation*
Has been registered within the last 10 years in their country of registration
Is not a subsidiary of a corporate entity**
Startups intending to participate should aim to incorporate in Singapore.
*Innovation is defined as any of the following:
Develops, produces, or commercializes technological products, services, or platforms; OR
Holds a patent registered with an accredited national IP institution; OR
Engages in an ongoing research collaboration with a research institution (a contract for services does not qualify as research collaboration).
**An enterprise is not considered a subsidiary of a corporate entity if it has more than 50% collective individual ownership at the time of incorporation.
All documents that may verify the Participant’s eligibility may be requested prior to the awarding of any prizes (e.g., identity document, registration certificate, etc.).
This Competition is not accessible to employees and representatives of the Organiser and Agorize, as well as their family members.
This Competition is null and void in jurisdictions where it is prohibited or restricted by law.
Note: Winners (Top 10/12) from previous editions of SLINGSHOT (2019/2020/2021/2022/2023/2024) are ineligible.
All participants are required to submit their Deliverables in ENGLISH, and Finalists must be capable of pitching and responding to Q&A in ENGLISH during the Finals.
