Why CAC Fees Are Going Up on Some Services Starting August 1, 2025
Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has revised upwards some of the fees on its services to the corporate world effective from August 1, 2025. The updated fee structure will influence services associated with companies, business names, limited partnerships, and incorporated trustees. The new fee structure is anticipated to affect business owners, lawyers, compliance officers, and others who engage with the corporate registry.
On a notice posted on its website about the upward revision, it noted that “The Commission would like to notify the General Public, Valued Customers, and all Stakeholders that in its ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and delivery, it has become essential to reassess certain service fees, effective from the 1st day of August, 2025.
“This decision on the upward revision of the CAC fees is the result of thorough consideration of current economic conditions, increasing operational expenses, and consultations with key Stakeholders prior to implementation.
“The adjustment of fees is vital to ensuring that the Commission can continue to offer prompt, efficient, and technology-driven services that fulfill the expectations of its Stakeholders, ultimately benefiting the Nigerian Economy.

“The Commission assures the General Public that this review is reasonable, competitive, and in line with its initiatives to improve service delivery through digital operations, while also preserving the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry.
“The Commission remains dedicated to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction as it works towards establishing a more resilient and responsive corporate regulatory framework”.
