Woeful Liverpool slump 1:4 to PSV as Salah and Isak Clipped

It was a terrible football night at Anfield as Champions League veterans and Premier League defending champions, Liverpool FC, were comprehensively outclassed by PSV in front of their home fans. At the end of 94 minutes of play, it was PSV Eindhoven 4 and Liverpool 1.

Mo Salah and Isak were clipped by PSV Eindhoven and could not get through the 18 yard box. Liverpool had many conner kicks but could not convert any one of them to any serious threat, talk less of a goal.

On the other hand, PSV Eindhoven were more business like throughout the game and capitalized on counter attacks and the weak Liverpool defense to heap misery on the Reds.

Frustration was written on the faces of the Liverpool bench and on the players and after PSV scored the fourth goal in added time, the Liverpool Coach, Arne Slot was near to crying.

So what has gone wrong so soon with Liverpool? A team that was flying last year and tipped to lift the Champions League. Is the departure of Trent Alexander Anold and Luiz Diaz, two key and tactical players, responsible? Or has the manager lost the dressing room?

It is difficult at this stage to fathom out what the real issues are but whatever it is, it is both serious abd critical and urgent solutions are needed.
