Stock Market report: Market rebound with 0.46% gain as Transcorp, Oando and NB Climb
- Today, the Nigerian stock market rebounded with 0.46% gain in ASI to 108,763.34points, driven by gains in stocks such as OANDO (+10.00%), TRANSCORP (+9.99%), and NB (+9.47%) outweighing losses in HMCALL (-9.85%), ACADEMY (-7.33%) and ABCTRANS (6.13%). Consequently, market capitalisation edged higher to 68.35trn. This rebound also brought the ASI Y-T-D to 5.67%.
- Trade turnover also settled higher, relative to the previous session, with the value of transactions up by 0.61%, and volume up by 20.24%. GTCO (+0.07%) led the value chart with N2.19bn, while TANTALIZER (+1.73%) led the volume chart.
- Market breadth closed positive at 1.67-to-1 ratio with advancing issues outnumbering the declining ones. OANDO (+10.00%) led the gainers table HMCALL(-9.85%) led the losers log.

- Movement in the NASD OTC today was upward with the NSI and market capitalisation gaining 1.02% to close at 3,359.8units and 1.96bn respectively.
