Anton Jacobsz resigns as CEO of Exclusive Networks Africa

Exclusive Networks Africa, a cybersecurity specialist, has announced the forthcoming departure of its long-serving managing director, Anton Jacobsz. He will continue to be a shareholder in the company and will also serve in an advisory role going forward.

Jacobsz informed today that he will be resigning from his position, three years after Exclusive Networks Africa acquired the value-added distributor Networks Unlimited in early 2022. He has held the roles of chief executive officer for three years and managing director for nearly six years.

In reflecting on his time with the company, Jacobsz expressed pride in the accomplishments of the local team, particularly highlighting the significant milestones achieved since the acquisition by Exclusive Networks Africa. These include a revenue increase of over 160 percent and a profitability rise exceeding 230 percent since January 2022.

“Exclusive Networks Africa has experienced remarkable growth during this period, establishing a robust presence across the continent and evolving into the preferred cybersecurity value-added distributor in the region.”

In expressing his gratitude, Jacobsz thanked his staff for their collaboration and the friendships formed over the years. “This has been a meaningful chapter in my life, and Exclusive Networks Africa has been like a child to me. I am confident that I am leaving the business in capable hands with our current management team.”

While Jacobsz’s operational responsibilities will conclude at the end of July 2024, he will remain engaged in the organization’s transition process during the third quarter of the year.
