By combining HudsonAlpha’s expertise in agriscience, including agriculture genomics, plant breeding, and crop diversity, with gener8tor’s extensive network of mentors and investors, as well as Huntsville’s reputation as a technology hub, the AgTech Accelerator provides a unique opportunity for startups to address the challenges of sustainable food production and energy generation on a global scale.

Startups from anywhere in the world, working on any aspect of agriculture, are encouraged to apply. Accepted startups will receive a $100K cash investment, office space, and access to gener8tor’s global network of mentors and investors.

Program Benefits

• Investment – Chosen teams will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity in your company using a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE).
• Cohort Programming – Every week, we have cohort programming that covers various topics such as understanding market size, selecting a revenue model, and mastering the art of pitching to investors.
• $1M+ in Deals & Perks = We have incredible deals and perks from renowned vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, PayPal, Zendesk, Hubspot, and Microsoft.
• Mentorship, Coaching & One-on-One Meetings – For twelve weeks, you’ll receive personalized coaching and mentorship from our experienced gener8tor team. We’ll have bi-weekly one-on-one meetings where you can gain insights from over 100 connections, including successful entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors.
• Office Space – As a participant, you’ll become a part of the thriving HudsonAlpha ecosystem and have access to state-of-the-art facilities spread across the 152-acre biotech campus. This will also provide opportunities for you to connect and collaborate with HudsonAlpha scientists.

Who is eligible to apply?
Startups from any part of the world that are innovating in the field of agriculture are welcome to apply.

Are there any requirements for relocation?
To fully benefit from the program and the local ecosystem, you will need to relocate to Huntsville, AL for the duration of the program.

Can teams choose how to participate?
Participation in the program is required to be in-person.

What are the terms of the $100,000 investment?
If your team is selected, you will receive a $100,000 investment in exchange for 7.5% equity in your company through a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE).
