Brandless raises $240M for $3 groceries
Brandless, an online retailer of foods, beauty supplies and household goods that cost $3 each, has just just raised $240 million in a fresh funding round led by SoftBank and joined by existing investors. The jumbo round comes just a year after the San Francisco-based company launched its initial product lineup.
Naked Labs launches body scanner
Fitness tracking startup Naked Labs raised $14 million in a Series A round led by Founders Fund. The Silicon Valley company is also officially launching its 3D body scanner.
DocuSign buys SpringCM
DocuSign has digitally inked a deal to acquire SpringCM, a provider of document generation and contract lifecycle management software, for around $220 million in cash. Chicago-based SpringCM previously raised about $128M in venture funding.
Felicis closes $270M fund
Early stage tech VC Felicis Ventures has closed on $270 million for its sixth fund, its largest to date. The fundraise follows a big exit earlier this summer with the IPO of Dutch payments provider Adyen.
