Heirs Insurance Donates 30KVA Solar Power Station to Ikoyi Passport Office
In order to enable 24-hour passport processing, Heirs Insurance Group presented a 30KVA solar power plant to the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Ikoyi Passport Office yesterday.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a delegation from Heirs Holdings and Heirs Insurance Group, along with the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs. Caroline Wura-ola Adepoju, important executives, and government officials, were led by Dr. Awele V. Elumelu (OFR), Non-Executive Director of Heirs Holdings, the parent company of Heirs Insurance Group.
As Dr. Elumelu said, we are hopeful that this initiative will improve passport issuance and production around-the-clock by directly addressing the electricity and power issues that cause delays in passport processing.
This program also demonstrates our group’s dedication to innovation, community development, sustainability, and environmental protection. In fact, this is how we fulfill our objective to better people’s lives and transform our nation, and consequently, our continent.
