Heirs Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Ibrahim Puri and Sonny Iroche as Independent Non-Executive Directors of its non-life insurance division, Heirs General. These appointments significantly enhance our governance and leadership framework.
Ibrahim Puri, NON- Executive Director, Heirs Insurance Group
Ibrahim is a distinguished leader in the financial services sector, boasting over 30 years of experience across banking, fintech, and the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries. He previously held the position of Group Executive Director at the United Bank for Africa and currently serves on the boards of RedTech and Nigeria Breweries. His extensive knowledge of the African financial landscape equips him with the skills to navigate intricate market challenges.
Sonny Iroche, ON- Executive Director, Heirs Insurance Group
Sonny brings more than 40 years of expertise in finance, investment promotion, and economic advisory. He is the Executive Chairman of Strategic Alliance Promotion Company and has held prominent roles at the Transmission Company of Nigeria and United Capital Plc. Additionally, he acts as a special advisor to the Board of Governors of the African Leadership Institute (AFLI).
