LCCI implements hybrid work arrangement for staff
Starting from January 23, 2024, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) will be implementing a new work arrangement for its employees. This decision, the LCCI said, was made in order to adapt to the changing work landscape and provide a more flexible and efficient working environment.
Under this new arrangement, all LCCI employees will be following a hybrid work model. This means that they will be required to work onsite at the Secretariat on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while working remotely on Tuesdays and Fridays. This arrangement aims to strike a balance between in-person collaboration and the benefits of remote work.
During the remote work days, it is important to note that all communication channels will remain active. This includes email, phone calls, and any other means of communication that we currently utilize. We want to ensure that there are no disruptions in our ability to respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and any other information that may require the attention of our employees.
By implementing this hybrid work arrangement, the management of LCCI said it believes that they can enhance productivity, improve work-life balance, and foster a more inclusive and flexible work culture. It will also allow the chamber to optimize the use of its office space and resources, while still maintaining the necessary level of in-person collaboration.
According to the chamber, it said it understands that this change may require some adjustments, but are confident that it will ultimately benefit both its employees and the organization as a whole. LCCI encourage everyone to embrace this new work arrangement and make the most out of the opportunities it presents.
