Manchester United wins FA Cup beating Manchester City 2:1

Two goals scored in the first half of play was sufficient to secure Manchester United the 2023/2024 FA cup glory at Wembley Stadium. They did everything to keep City at bay, City only able to net one goal in the closing minutes of the second half.

Erling Haarland and Phil Foden could not ignite their fire to score for City. The two goals in the first half scored by United were defensive and goal keeping errors by City Goal keeper and defenders.

Though City had the greater ball posession, they could not convert them and even had fewer shots on goal. The shots taken by the City players were all off targets. It took the brilliance of Jeremy Doku to take an intelligent shot beating Onana, the Manchester United goal keeper, for City’s lone goal.
