Med-View commences flights to Jeddah
Med-View Airlines has commenced direct flight operations to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The airline will operate four direct flights routed through Lagos-Abuja-Jeddah and Lagos-Kano-Jeddah.
This followed approvals by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia and Federal Government designating the airline as flag carrier to Saudi Arabia. These approvals enables the the airline airlifts pilgrims from the South-West, South-South, South-East states and Borno State to Jeddah for Hajj.
The airline also have approval from the Federal Government to operate flight operations to London, Dubai, Dakar, Accra, Monrovia, Libreville, Doula, etc.
Med-View airline has been airlifting pilgrims for operations since 2007 and commenced domestic commercial operation in November 2012. The airline has has working partnership with Euro-Atlantic Airways of Lisbon, Portugal, a General Sales Agency (GSA) agreement with Saudi Air Cargo plus a business relationship with Pluna Air of Uruguay and Air Atlanta of Iceland.
