On the list of countries with the highest number of restaurants in the top 1000, the United States leads with 113 restaurants; France follows closely with 111 restaurants, China has a total of 79 entries while the United Kingdom has a total of 75 entries.
On the African continent, Nigeria has just two entries among the top 1,000 restaurants in the World. these are Lagos based Nok by Alara with 77 points and Lagos based Itan Test Kitchen with 75.50 points.
On the other hand, South Africa tops the list of African countries with the highest number of entries on the 2025 list with 15 of her restaurants listed. Morocco has ten restaurants on the list.
