Sparkle to Lead Open Banking and Risk Management Discussions at Moonshot
Sparkle, Nigeria’s premier digital bank, is poised to conduct two significant sessions centered on open banking and risk management during the second annual Moonshot by TechCabal conference. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Moonshot sessions hosted by Sparkle will occur on Thursday, October 10, at 10:10 AM and 2:40 PM, respectively. The first session, a fireside chat entitled “The Open Banking Opportunity – How to Take Advantage of It,” will feature Uzoma Dozie, CEO of Sparkle, alongside Adedeji Olowe, Founder and CEO of Lendsqr and Trustee at Open Banking Nigeria. They will discuss the transformative potential of open banking in reshaping the financial landscape and fostering economic growth in Nigeria.
The second session will be a panel discussion on the Future of Commerce stage, focusing on “Risks and Credit – Leveraging Risks to Grow Your Lending Business.” This discussion will include panellist Folakemi Fatogbe, Chairman of the Board Credit & Risk Committee at the Development Bank of Nigeria, who will join Adedeji Olowe, Uzoma Dozie, and moderator Jessica Hope, Founder and CEO of Wimbart. They will delve into the significance of effective risk management and how a comprehensive understanding of risk can improve business performance.
