The export capacity building curriculum includes conceptual issues of trade and economic integration, the emergence of AfCFTA, its operations and practical aspects of the export trade process.

By doing so, stakeholders will be better prepared to carry out their duties in ensuring a successful implementation, and the private sector will receive the information it needs to move from asking “what” to asking “how” when it comes to trading under the AfCFTA framework.

Due to the curriculum’s comprehensiveness, it will also provide Business Support Organizations with knowledge on how to instruct exporters in the future in preparation for AfCFTA implementation and utilization.

The African Continental Free Commerce Area (AfCFTA) has the potential to increase intra-African trade and is anticipated to create an integrated continental market with a population of 1.27 billion consumers and a combined GDP of $3.4 trillion. As the largest economy in Africa, Nigeria, has the ability to significantly grow its trade, manufacturing, and foreign investment. Register to attend https://forms.gle/TAx1La15w86Q8nmNA
