Transforming Nigerian Youths Program to create a network of entrepreneurial and managerial change-makers
The Transforming Nigerian Youths initiative intends to build a network of entrepreneurial and management change-makers, primarily among youths and women in Nigeria’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector.
The Young Africa Works-Mastercard Foundation, in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Centre at Pan-Atlantic University, is bringing this initiative to Nigeria.
EDC is collaborating with the Foundation to strengthen the capacity of 40,000 MSMEs in Nigeria, with a special emphasis on agriculture and creative sectors, particularly women-led companies. The training will be offered through EDC’s online learning platform and IVR (Interactive Voice Response), allowing all learners to participate in the classes wherever they are, at any time.
- The program’s primary goals are as follows:
- To fully change the thinking of Nigerian youngsters so that they can become more entrepreneurial and self-employed or job producers.
- To provide market access and support services to existing business owners, particularly those owned by young people.
EDC Beam is changing the way people learn and receive information in Nigeria.
