Uniting to Combat NTDs will launch the 100% Committed movement on 27 January: Light up the World

This year, Uniting to Combat NTDs will launch the 100% Committed movement on 27 January, just ahead of World NTD Day. 100% Committed exists to begin securing political and financial commitments behind the Kigali Declaration on NTDs. The Kigali Declaration, a high-level political declaration, provides the opportunity to mobilise the political will, community commitment, resources and action needed to end unnecessary suffering from NTDs.

Ahead of World NTD Day on 30th January, Uniting will host a high-level event to celebrate 10 years of the London Declaration; launch the 100% Committed campaign to ending NTDs; and, kick off endorsements and commitments for the Kigali Declaration. Together we will call on governments, parliamentarians, mayors, local leaders, as well as continental and regional bodies, and private sector partners, donors, research institutions, non-governmental organisations and youth to show they are 100% Committed to ending NTDs.
