Recently, Unity Bank collaborated with SkillPaddy on the “Count Her In” tech Programme, aimed at empowering at least 1,000 women through Software Engineering Training. This initiative for IT skill development and empowerment was designed to address talent supply shortages while enabling individuals to achieve their training objectives and embark on careers within the technology sector. Approximately 40 young girls were granted full sponsorship by the Bank as part of this specialized training initiative, which was developed in conjunction with the celebrations for International Women’s Day 2024.
