Unity Bank partners with Cashtoken to deploy patronage reward products for its customers
Unity Bank Plc and Cashtoken have launched a collaboration to introduce a patronage reward program that promises millions of Naira in cash incentives, quick cashback, and a chance to change people’s lives.
The Cash Reward-as-a-Service provider Cashtoken runs a loyalty program with the goal of enhancing customer happiness and driving consumer engagement. Through the agreement, Unity Bank will be able to move both its current and potential customers to a platform that will consistently deliver attractive benefits and show its appreciation for their loyalty.
Customers must register on any or all of the Unity Bank digital banking platforms, such as the Unifi mobile banking app, the *7799# USSD platform, or activate their Unity Bank Verve Card, and they must transact on any e-payment terminal in Nigeria in order to be eligible for this reward program.
Customers receive cash tokens for every card transaction they make as well as for being onboarded on the digital platform. These tokens may be promptly redeemed, and they also entitle the user to participate in the monthly Cashtoken Rewards draw, where they can win up to one million Naira in cash.
Unity Bank’s Head of E-Business, Eghomware Iyamu, stated during the media event in Lagos that the company’s partnership with Cashtoken aims to increase the ways in which Unity Bank clients are valued.

As a result, this partnership has created the conditions for an exciting voyage of gratitude, wherein Unity Bank clients will now be able to anticipate abundant monetary benefits, making every encounter with the bank a fulfilling one.
The Bank is confident that by offering new customers an enjoyable banking experience when they pick up and activate a Verve Card and transact through the Bank’s digital banking channels, this program will not only reward current ones but also draw in new ones. For its part, Cashtoken claimed that by continuously rewarding patronage and loyalty, it is able to increase customer enthusiasm and strengthen the relationship between families and companies as a result of fulfilling its purpose under the agreement.
It went on to say that the recently announced relationship between Unity Bank and Cashtoken would start off by providing brand engagement and a customer experience that will essentially be a cash prize equivalent of loyalty rewards.
Following a similar partnership with the payment processor Verve Card Services Limited, which saw Unity Bank customers Nmeregini Chukwuebuka and Sharif Yusuf Mohd win 500,000 and 150,000 naira, respectively, in the ongoing Verve National Consumer Promo, the partnership announcement has taken place.
