You are invited to CcHUB’s UNI:NNOVATOR’s Demo Day on Wednesday October 11th

We are thrilled to present an invitation that could spark creativity and promote significant change. The revolutionary “UNI:NNOVATORS: Startups in Residence Programme” will be implemented by Co-Creation Hub and GIZ Make-IT in Africa across Nigeria, Kenya, and Namibia. This innovative project was launched in June 2023 and will last until May 2024 with the goal of fostering technological innovation and advancement in higher education institutions for a better society across Africa.

A notable accomplishment for our program is the in-country Innovation Demo Day. After a 6-week design sprint, young inventors from UNILAG and UI labored assiduously to turn their concepts into low-fidelity prototypes. There are numerous evidence-based options available, such as “ConnectCare,” which links pregnant women in remote areas with prompt prenatal and postnatal care in an effort to lower maternal mortality and pregnancy-related issues.

Six teams will move on to the program’s next phase, where we will help them develop and market their solutions before the end of the program.

You are cordially invited to take part in this historic occasion. Your participation would not only encourage these up-and-coming innovators, but it would also demonstrate to them that others around the world share their optimism about their abilities to improve Africa. We have worked with ten student-run startup teams from the Universities of Ibadan (UI) and Lagos (UNILAG) in Nigeria. – CcHub
