AFEX Commodities Index Composite experiences positive market performance

The AFEX Commodities Index Composite saw a reversal from last week’s slight loss to end the trading week on a positive note. The gains came on the positive performance of the soybean and paddy rice sub indices, with the index rising slightly by 2.19% to close the trading week at 249.90 points.

Other commodities also maintained near season high prices and the prices are expected to appreciate even further as the season slowly draws to a close.
