Talented young leaders with a variety of skill sets and backgrounds are sought out by the Global Health Corps (GHC) Fellowship Program in Sub-Saharan Africa to join and contribute to the movement for health justice. With health organizations in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia, GHC provides young professionals a variety of paid, high-impact fellowship positions as well as the chance to grow as a transformative leader.
For a 13-month fellowship, GHC finds and chooses highly qualified candidates with a variety of skill sets who will work in organizations with a high impact. Fellows significantly benefit their placement organizations and the communities they serve during their fellowship year.
Young professionals from 13 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa are recruited and placed by GHC through a highly selective process to work for 13 months in high-impact positions on the front lines of global health. GHC currently assigns fellows to Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, and Uganda. We are constantly moved and impressed by the passion of the thousands of candidates, only a small percentage of whom we are able to admit.
The Global Health Corps fellowship offers rigorous leadership development and professional growth in addition to the following advantages:

Conditions for Eligibility: Before the fellowship begins, fellows are required to:
- be under 30 years of age.
- own a bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from a university.
- Be able to speak English well.
- Be a resident of Zimbabwe, Burundi, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, or Zambia.
