The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP), the Cultural Relations Platform’s flagship training program, is a once-in-a-lifetime event that brings practitioners from all over the world together to make important relationships and debate cross-cultural cooperation. The GCRP has announced a shift in focus for the 2018 GCRP edition. Previous versions were geared toward cultural and artistic professionals. The Cultural Relations Platform has opened the program to participants working on climate change and environmental issues for the 2023 edition of GCRP.

Requirements

The Cultural Relations Platform is looking for 40 individuals and entrepreneurs who work in the cultural and creative sectors OR who are concerned about climate change and the environment. We prioritize individuals who work in either of these two industries.
You must be between the ages of 25 and 39 and have at least three years of experience in international/cross-cultural engagement.
You could work as a freelancer or for a public, private, or civil society organization.
You must be able to commit to the program for the entire term of 10-13 October 2023, including travel time to and from Madrid.

program Timeline:

• Early to mid-July: Selected participants are informed via email
• September: Selected participants are announced online
• Monday 9 October: Participants arrive in Madrid
• Tuesday 10 October – Friday 13 October: Four full days of programming
• Saturday 14 October: Participants departure from Madrid.
