BNI Coastal Chapter Hosts “Expanding Your Sales Force at Zero Cost” Workshop for Entrepreneurs
The BNI Coastal Chapter in Lagos will on Wednesday November 1, host entrepreneurs and business owners to a workshop on “Expanding Your Sales Force At Zero Cost“. The workshop is scheduled to hold at the Reddo Workspace on Idowu Martins Street, Victoria Island.
Admittedly, sales and marketing are core to the success of any business. But growing the size and quality of the sales force is a challenge that even giants like MTN, Guinness, and Access Bank still battle with. So, with SMEs and startups, the challenge can be very profound and also exasperating.
But there is a solution.
Specifically, SMEs and companies must alter four factors over time, the core of which is the size and structure of the sales force. These variables are critical because they determine how quickly the sales force responds to market opportunities; they influence sales forces’ performance; and they affect your revenues, costs, and profitability.
Research shows that companies that change their sales force size and structures in ways that align with optimal performance are more successful than those that do not. However, for SMEs, the cost of recruiting and maintaining a sales force can be dauting as most do not have the financial werewithal to hire competent sales force, train and retain them.
Realizing this, the BNI Coastal Chapter will be hosting the workshop to show entrepreneurs a time tested and industry proven ways they can expand their sales force without hurting their finances.
At the workshop, entrepreneurs will learn and acquire strategies for expanding and turbocharging their sales force at no cost, especially in these inflation-ridden times. They will also learn how to grow their business and gain a support network.
Besides, it is also a great opportunity to network and connect with business owners and professionals.

Speaking about the workshop, the BNI Coastal Chapter Event Director, Mr. Bolaji Jubril, CEO of Tripod Concepts Communications and Director, Kabo Delivery, said that entrepreneurs need to get their selling activities right to be able to navigate the business terrain and achieve their mandate. Mr. Bolaji Jubril, who is an experienced marketing and selling professional with years consulting for the likes of MTN, PSI. etc., also said that most SMEs grope in the dark when it comes to sales for lacking deep pockets to compete with their established counterparts. This he said accounts for the untimely demise of many startups within their first five years of existence.
