Chief Dr, Jonathan Terlumun Akputu, Jp, Appointed Director of the Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank Limited

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Chief Dr. Jonathan Terlumun Akputu Jp as the Director of Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank Limited. This appointment, which has been approved by the President, was facilitated by the Board of the Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank Limited, under the leadership of Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, who serves as the MD/CEO of the Federal Housing Authority.

Chief Dr. J.T, Akputu, also known as Orfansev-U-Tiv, Asortar-U-Kwande, brings a distinguished career in finance and public service to his new role. After retiring as a Director from the Benue State Government, he has served as the Council Chairman of Kwande Local Government Area on three occasions. Additionally, he has represented the North Central region on the Board of the National Examination Council (NECO). Furthermore, he played a crucial role as the Director of Grassroots Mobilization for President Tinubu’s 2023 campaign.

Apart from his remarkable public service career, Orfansev-U-Tiv, Asortar-U-Kwande is the founder of Excellent Micro Finance Bank, a prominent institution in Benue State that is dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. He has also earned a PhD from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Given his extensive experience and professional expertise, FHA Mortgage Bank, as the primary financial institution supporting national housing schemes, stands to greatly benefit from Chief Dr. Akputu’s appointment.
