CIBN COLLABORATES WITH AERMP ON ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT & E-LEARNING

The Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP) announced today the COLLABORATION between the foremost vibrant and forward thinking risk management professional body, the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP) and the undisputable leading World Class institute in the Financial Sector, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN.

This collaboration (MOU of which has already been signed by the two parties) aims to enhance the CAPACITY and shore up the COMPETENCE of the professionals, students and all practitioners in the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy by jointly developing and running series of workshop, trainings and seminars on the subject of ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM).

Equally worthy of mention is the collaboration between the two great institutes on E – Learning. This is designed to fill the current gap in knowledge dissemination, which is mainly class based and physical. Modern reality has shown that virtual learning has become an indispensable and a complementary tool to the regular learning model.

To fast track the implementation of this innovative initiative, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN has deployed an Electronic Learning Portal. The platform is specifically designed primarily with the intent of enhancing learning, development and capacity building.

Congratulations to the members of both institutes (AERMP & CIBN) and the practitioners and professionals in other disciplines that are interested in learning how to manage risks they incur in their day to day activities.
