Danida Market Development Partnerships – 2018 application round is open
The 2018 application round is open. Deadline for submission 16 August 2018 (5 PM CET).
Does your company want to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals and at the same time seek business opportunities? Then the Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP) programme is a good opportunity. DMDP promotes commercially oriented partnerships, which contribute to market development and promote local economic growth and employment in developing countries.
The point of departure for a partnership project is a business idea driven by one or more businesses that conduct responsible business. The business idea must support local development and contribute to promoting Goal 8 (local economic growth and employment). This is achieved by combining knowledge, solutions and resources from companies, civil society organisations, business organisations, public authorities, and non-commercial partners. This creates more transformative development results and viable business.
From today, DMDP is open for applications from potential partnerships. DMDP has a budget of DKK 80 million in 2018 for between 10-12 partnerships. Concept note applications must be sent before 16 August 2018. To be considered, the partnership must as a minimum include one private business and one non-commercial partner. One of the partners must be local. A non-commercial partner must send the application.
