Entries Now Open: African Culture Fund (ACF) Academy Bootcamp 4 Program for young cultural managers (Fully Funded to Cameroon)
The African Cultural Fund, in collaboration with the Institut Kôrè des Arts et Métiers (IKAM) and Arterial Network Cameroon, is launching this call for applications to select 15 young cultural managers from Central Africa to participate in the BOOT CAMP #4 of the ACF ACADEMY program, which will take place from August 7th to 12th, 2023, in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Objectives of the call
This call seeks to contribute to the capacity building of fifteen (15) young cultural managers from Central Africa (eight women and seven men) through the organization of a one-week BOOT CAMP (capacity building camp) in collaboration with the Institut Kôrè des Arts et Métiers (IKAM) in Ségou and Arterial Network Cameroon.
The ACF ACADEMY Program’s Boot Camps are accredited by Mali’s Institut Kôrè des Arts et Métiers (IKAM).
After finishing the ACF ACADEMY course, participants will earn a Professional Aptitude Certificate called Kôrè-Qualité, which will provide them with the abilities needed to advance their career in the field of Cultural Management. The Kôrè-Qualité Certificate is recognized by the IKAM network and its partners in all regions of Africa.
4th Boot Camp Topic | Cultural Management
This is the fourth Boot Camp (capacity building camp) in collaboration with the Institut Kôrè des Arts et Métiers (IKAM) in Ségou and Arterial Network Cameroon, and it will provide participants with innovative pedagogical content, tailored coaching and mentoring mechanisms, and specific skills in cultural enterprise management and structuring. Experienced professionals from all throughout Africa will provide coaching and mentorship.
This fourth Boot Camp’s training sessions will last one week, with IKAM coaches and mentors helping the students throughout the program.
Personal Development, Digitalization and Creative Innovation, Financial Management and Fundraising, and Cultural Entrepreneurship Maaya (CEM) will be taught.
Requirements
ACF, in conjunction with IKAM and Arterial Network Cameroon, is presenting this call for applications aimed at young Central African cultural actors/entrepreneurs that fit the following criteria:
You must be between the ages of 21 and 40.
Make a living as a private cultural performer and/or operator.
Be a citizen of one of Central Africa’s countries.
Have at least three years of experience operating a cultural enterprise and/or cultural event.
Make yourself accessible to participate in the ACF-ACADEMY program’s many trainings, networking activities, and coaching sessions.
Benefits
The ACF-ACADEMY program pays all expenses for participants during the Boot Camp, including international transportation, accommodations, meals, and local travel.

CV (Curriculum Vitae)
Copy of identification document or similar Motivation letter
Copy of the cultural enterprise’s constituent documentation (receipt, trade registration or economic operator card, statutes, etc.)
Most recent activity report (until 2022).
Timeline
