Innovectives Wins Financial Inclusion Leadership and Fastest Growing Agency Service Awards – FINTECHAFRICA

The leading integrated Fintech company, Innovectives has bagged two major awards at the Inclusive Financial Nigeria Conference and Awards (IFINCA) 2019, even as the company was recognised for its sterling role in deepening financial inclusion in the country.

According to Rarzack Olaegbe, the Event Director of IFINCA, Nigeria Financial Inclusion Awards (FIA) recognises, celebrates and rewards outstanding achievement and innovative financial practices, which make financial services accessible to disadvantaged Nigerians.

He said that Innovectives is a third generation Fintech collaborating with regulators, operators (Fintechs, banks, switches, other financial institutions), international card schemes, telcos and value added services providers to deepen payment adoption as well as financial and social inclusions.

He added that the company provides access to formal financial services and facilitates digital payment adoption as payment facilitator, payment aggregator, payment processor, agency banking provider, merchant aggregator and point of sale solution provider as well as micro-credit scheme operator.

In recognising Innovectives, the owner and operator of Kesh Express, Olaegbe said the platform is regarded as one of the fastest growing in the country with over 23,000 sub agents and aggregators in its network.

To earn the award as the Fastest Growing Agency Service, Olaegbe informed that “Kesh Express is arguably the fastest growing in the country with over 23,000 agents in its network. In 2018, it increased the number of FIs and NFIs connected to Kesh Express from 4 to 17. It is connected to Zenith Bank, GTB, Access Bank, Stanbic IBTC, UBA, Ecobank, Fidelity, Wema and Cowries Microfinance Bank.”

He added that Kesh Express is connected to NIPOST, Angaza, UnionPay, Mastercard, Visa, Quickteller, Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System [NIBSS], Remita and ARM Life Insurance platform.

According to him, “Over 1,500,000 bank accounts have been opened by Kesh Express for the banks in its network”.

For the Managing Director and CEO, Emmanuel Agha to emerge as the Financial Inclusion Person of the Year 2019 at FIA, Olaegbe said under Agha the company has become a major driver of the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN]’s financial inclusion strategy in Nigeria through its landmark initiatives.

He said, “Innovectives and Kesh Express under Emmanuel Agha has become a platform and is vital to the financial sector and has expanded its scope by bring more underbanked and underserved into the financial net.’’
