Established in 2008, the Zayed Sustainability Prize was created to honour the legacy of the UAE’s Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and reward the achievements of those who are driving impactful, innovative and inspiring sustainability solutions across five distinct categories: Health, Food, Energy, Water and Global High Schools.

Over the past 12 years, the Prize has awarded 86 winners who have collectively impacted the lives of over 335 million people around the world. This year is not any different as the call for applications is open. In these unprecedented and challenging times, the Zayed Sustainability Prize remains committed to rewarding innovative, impactful and inspirational solutions that make this world a better place.
