Nigerian stock market All-Share Index losses another 1.04% on Thursday
The Nigerian stock market lost further value on Thursday as the NGX All-Share Index fell by 1.04% to close at 54,915.61 points with market capitalization losing ₦313.02bn to close at ₦29.9 and the year-to-date (YTD) return falling to 7.15%,
Trade turnover was also lower compared to Wednesdays figures with a 55.66% decrease in transaction value. In a total of 3,489 transactions, 137.29 million shares worth N1.51 billion were completed.
With 26.09 million units exchanged, TRANSCORP (-4.44%) topped the volume chart, while ZENITHBANK (+2.52%) topped the value one with transactions totaling 353.89 million. On the laggard’s log, ETI (-10.00%) outperformed sixteen (16) rivals, while CHAMS (+8.70%) led five (5) rivals.
