Today, Paradigm Initiative officially released its 2019 Impact Report.
Throughout 2019, Paradigm Initiative has made significant strides toward its objectives of digital inclusion, digital rights by working through powerful partnerships.

The report features highlights our staff and what the do as well as our impact through our Digital Rights and Digital Inclusion programs.
The report highlights how we’ve championed critical policy interventions such as campaigns leading the advocacy for the passage of the Digital Rights and Freedom Bill in Nigeria and mobilising and coordinating advocacy against emerging legislations on “Fake News” and Hate Speech in Africa such as the Computer Crime Proclamation Bill in Ethiopia, the amendment of section 241 of the penal code in Cameroon, Nigeria’s anti-social media and hate speech bills and other legislation restricting the civic space for citizens, bloggers, and Journalists in Africa. The report also showcases our contributions to the draft amendment to the Constitution of the Gambia, our regional workshops, and also how we tried to bridge the digital access gap for under-served youth and communities across Nigeria through our LIFE innovation centres and Dufuna programs.
