Register for the Post-Harvest Losses webinar on Soyabeans Production and Processing
Soyabean is among the major industrial and food crops grown in every continent. It can be successfully grown in many states in Nigeria using low agricultural input, and cultivation has expanded because of its nutritive and economic importance and diverse domestic uses. It is also a prime source of vegetable oil in the international market. Soyabeans, like many other crops, are impacted by post-harvest losses caused by various factors, such as transportation, weighing, threshing, storage and handling, weather conditions, bad management and harvesting practices.
This webinar will specifically focus on the various causes of post-harvest losses in soyabeans, good agricultural practices necessary to reduce and prevent post-harvest losses, and first-hand experiences from the field.
The session will hold as follows:
Topic: Soyabeans
Date: Wednesday, 6th July 2022
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am (WAT)
