The 2016 National Business Conference on October 25
The 2016 edition of the National Business Conference organized by BNI holds on Tuesday October 25 at Ace Olivia Hall, City Mall Onikan.
This year’s conference has as its theme “Nigeria’s Current Economic Realities – Strategies for Business Success and Growth”. The theme is based on the current economic realities facing Nigerian businesses locally and globally and the current economic posture and measures of Government both at the Federal and State Levels.
The conference aims to provide practical solutions and way forward for businesses and entrepreneurs and present emerging opportunities to harness. There will be connections with quality business professionals and presentations on referrals and networking techniques. In addition will be industry experts, lectures, business networking and interactions and keynote speakers.
The keynote will be delivered by Bunmi Jembola, a serial entrepreneur, management consultant, author and public speaker.
Bunmi Jembola is the Founder of Venture Starter Nigeria an online-to-offline community of entrepreneurs which intends to become a key training and collaboration platform for entrepreneurs across Africa. Bunmi is Managing Partner at SBJ Laureate & Co a consulting firm that he founded with three other friends. He has several years’ experience in corporate banking and loan portfolio management with over a decade experience in executive sales and marketing functions. He is a member of the American Human Capital Institute (HCI) and Scotland’s Business Continuity Institute (BCI). He speaks regularly to established entrepreneurs, business starters and the big corporate brands on a wide variety of topics ranging from Startup Finance to Business Process Improvement, and much more.
Bunmi Jembola will be joined for a panel discussion Dr. Adebola Olubanjo, a renowned accountant with BKR Worldwide accounting firm, to further dissect the theme and proffer further insight and solutions to some of the numerous issues confronting businesses in the wake of the current economic realities in Nigeria.
Other speakers include Peter Akindeji Coker, MD/CEO of Previs Developments Limited, Taiwo Popoola, fellow of ICAN and Institute of Taxation and Nneka Nwobi of Galaxy Backbone, Microsoft and Partner at John Maxwells International.
