In Q3, 25.5 million total impressions from all 10 platforms were reported, which is an increase from 14.7 million impressions across 16 platforms in Q2. Only seven platforms that are deserving of recognition in the entertainment and lifestyle area were taken into account for the ranking. In this category, Linda Ikeji’s Blog continues to be the most popular, generating almost 65% of all visitors in the sector.
James Ezechukwu, co-founder of SuirrelPR, commented on the research, saying that it shows the increasing power of the major players and the great potential for advertisers utilizing these digital news platforms to reach their target audience.
“We’re still dedicated to offering performance-based data so that our partners can choose wisely where to place their ads in the media. This analysis demonstrates how readership is impacted by events and how certain platforms use creative content marketing to maintain their lead in each category, according to Ezechukwu.
