Tony Elumelu Foundation introduces Starta platform

The Tony Elumelu Foundation today announced that it has introduced  new platform for entrepreneurs and startups in Africa called Starta. According to a newsletter sent out by the organization, it said that the Starta platform “provides entrepreneurs in Africa with business support content, tools and opportunities required to launch, manage and scale a business startup. The platform allows investors and business development professionals research, discover and track the fastest growing business opportunities in the region”.

On the platform, entrepreneurs could find articles such as: How to get Funding for your Startup,  8 Ways to Beat Competition, How to do Market Research with no Money, … and more.

In addition to the insightful articles that entrepreneurs can benefit from, Starta will frequently host masterclasses on key topics surrounding the start-up journey, available to all at little to no cost. Interestingly, the first Starta  masterclass was held this week on the subject “Growth Hacking” and was attended by some 2015 and 2016 TEEP entrepreneurs.
