World Aids Day: Medbury Medicals Partners Shelf Drilling to Help ‘Close the Care Gap’ for Cancer Patients
Millions of people around the world continue to be impacted by HIV and AIDS, which is a serious public health concern. The previous few years have seen a stagnation in HIV targets, a reduction in resources, and an increase in the risk to millions of lives.
HIV became and continues to be a global health concern because of shortcomings such as division, inequality, and disdain for human rights. The theme for World AIDS Day in 2022 was Equalize.
Medbury urges everyone to courageously acknowledge and solve the injustices that are impeding the fight to end AIDS. We can only hope to see an AIDS-free world by working together and solving the problems that contribute to the HIV pandemic.
We are happy to declare our support for the Shelf Drilling-organized Cancer event. In order to ‘Close the Care Gap’ for cancer patients in Nigeria, Shelf Drilling, a fervent advocate for cancer awareness, has partnered with Medbury Medicals. The occasion will occur on:
- Date: Saturday 3rd December 2022
- Time: 7:00 am
- Venue: Shelf Drilling’s Car Park in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
This event will feature several activities, that include:
- 9km Cancer Awareness Walk (SD Office to Ikoyi Bridge to SD Office)
- Fitness Competition/Aerobic Free BMI 8 Vitals Siens Checks
- Cancer Advocacy & Awareness Symposium
- Free Cancer Screening (Breast Scan & Prostate Screening)
Everyone is welcome! We hope that you’ll join us on this important day in our fight against cancer.
