You can now visit Kenya without a Visa
President William Ruto announced on December 12 that starting from January, visitors from all over the world will no longer need a visa to enter Kenya. Instead of going through the hassle of applying for a visa, all visitors will now receive an electronic travel authorization in advance through a digital platform developed by the government.
This means that anyone, no matter where they are from, can now easily come to Kenya without the burden of visa applications. President Ruto has been a strong advocate for visa-free travel within Africa and has previously stated that by the end of 2023, people from African countries will also be able to visit Kenya without a visa.
The tourism industry in Kenya is a significant contributor to the country’s economy, offering beautiful beach holidays along the Indian Ocean coastline and thrilling wildlife safaris inland. President Ruto’s message to the world is simple: “Welcome Home!”
