The Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ACCIMA), is poised to drive industrial activities in the commercial city. To this end, the newly elected Chairman, Emma Nwakpadolu, has invited stakeholders to team up with the chamber for the revival of industrial activities in the commercial city.
The Chairman who is the managing director/CEO of Cone Oil and Gas Limited, said that Aba, which was once known and referred to as the Japan of Africa, has all it takes to lead the industrialization of Nigeria.
Among measures the chamber will pursue is raising the standard of the Aba International Trade Fair to international standards. To this end the chamber is aiming to secure a permanent trade site for the annual event and work on getting more foreign participation.
