Nigeria’s foremost brewer, NB Plc, has relaunched its More brand of lager beer into the market. The beer brand was originally introduced to the market back in 1980 by the Brewer a a local and premium brand but overshadowed by other products on their shelf, notably Star and Gulder.
Brewed at the Makurdi Brewery of NB Plc, the re-launched lager comes with a new enticing look and budding taste.
At a media briefing for the re-launch, the Corporate Affairs Adviser of NB plc, Mr. Kufre Ekanem, said that the re-launch is designed to reinforce the premium quality heritage embedded in the lager. according to Ekanem, NB Plc opted to upgrade the Makurdi brewery in order to deliver more to its stakeholders and reflect the international standards for which Nigerian Breweries Plc has been known over the years.
Nigerian Breweries boasts of more than fifteen premium brands in the market including Gulder, Star, Heineken, Maltina, Legend, 33, and Turbo. The Brewer boasts of plants and breweries in Lagos, Ibadan, Ijebu Ode, Enugu, Awo Omamma, Makurdi, Aba, Kaduna, Ota and Onitsha.
