Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2018: Uti Nwachukwu and Bryan Okwara lights up the run way
The 5th edition of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2018 (#AFWN2018) held over the weekend and among those who dazzled the audience on the run way were the effervescent Uti Nwachukwu and handsome boy, former Mr. Nigeria Bryan Okwara.
The duo modeled the designs of London based fashion maker Erenti (@ErentiDesigns), the bespoke African Fashion Menswear. Brian was classic in his fluorescent red outfit with a matching hat. As soon as he emerged on the run way the audience screamed. But he was not done. His pose, catwalk and body language just thrilled the audience all the more.
Uti Nwachukwu, was simply original and unfazed. His catwalk was captivating and his outfit was made to measure, cool and trendy. He stepped onto the run way with so much audacious carriage just like one of those conquering cowboys of American West that we see in the block buster movies, charming, commanding.
Erenti whose clothes are a perfect balance of African culture and contemporary aesthetics could not have had better models than the the duo of Bryan and Uti who lighted up the night and stole the show.
With a strong appreciation of African authenticity and rawness, Erenti pursues to merge culture and contemporary designs to make its brand truly noticeable on a global platform. This it achieved at AFWN2018.
Earlier in the year the fashion maker had said that “We aim to establish ourselves in the Men’s African Fashion industry both in Lagos and in London, earn market share and be more memorable. We are currently working on improving our brand image, recognition and to enhance engagement with ambassadors and we hope to build strong networking ties in Lagos and London”.
Among dignitaries in attendance was Opral Benson, royal fathers and Fashion icons.
