For media professionals in Nigeria, the MTN Media Innovation Programme is a six-week curriculum over six-months. The curriculum will broaden the participants’ knowledge and skill sets, assist them in understanding the shifting media landscape, and teach them how to use technology to produce powerful media content.

On April 27, 2022, MTN Nigeria and Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) announced the MTN Media Innovation Programme (MTN MIP) would begin operations. The MTN MIP would be overseen by PAU’s Faculty of Media and Communication (SMC).

The fully financed, six-month fellowship for Nigerian media professionals aims to help the long-term growth of the country’s evolving media landscape. It is accessible to all types of media professionals, including those who create material for social media, electronic, print, and internet platforms.

The goal of the course is to improve participants’ understanding of Nigeria’s technology sector and the relationship between media and technology, as well as their capacity to adjust to shifting circumstances. Also, fellows will have access to professional tools and guidance from SMC faculty members.
