The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers was established by LVMH in 2013 and is motivated by a “passion for creation.” This support represents the Group’s and its Houses’ dedication to today’s budding designers who will become tomorrow’s rising stars.
The LVMH Prize honors upcoming fashion designers each year who have demonstrated exceptional talent and inventiveness. The LVMH Prize helps a new generation of designers to emerge because of the mentorship and endowment received by the winners.
The LVMH Prize recipients receive individualized mentoring for a whole year. The winners are mentored by committed LVMH teams in a variety of areas, including marketing and brand finance management, as well as corporate legal issues, copyright, and sustainable development.
These young designers have a one-of-a-kind and priceless opportunity through this mentoring to learn from true professionals and so combine their creativity with commercial success.
The 20 semi-finalists for the Prize are chosen by the Prize selection committee from among the applicants invited to display their concepts at the LVMH headquarters in Paris show room.
Around 70 worldwide experts in the fashion industry choose the semi-finalists from among the applicants at the semi-final.
The Jury selects the winners after hearing the finalist candidates.
During the final, the names of the three young fashion graduates who were selected to work in the design studios of LVMH Houses are also disclosed. Visit the Official Webpage of the 2023 LVMH Prize for young Fashion Designers Deadline: January 29th, 2023
