Co-Creation Hub and GIZ Make-IT in Africa are collaborating to implement the transformative “UNI:NNOVATORS: Startups in Residence Programme” in Nigeria, Kenya, and Namibia. This ground-breaking effort will run from June 2023 to May 2024, with the goal of driving technological advancement and innovation within Higher Education Institutions for a better society across Africa.
We will hold an in-country Innovation display Day as a crucial milestone of the program, where student innovators will display low-fidelity prototypes created during a 6-week design sprint. There will be a wide range of research-based innovations aimed at reducing maternal mortality in pregnant women, rethinking breast cancer devices for low and middle-income countries, redesigning medical records with blockchain, and boosting agricultural productivity for rural farmers with IoT, amongst a slew of other brilliant ideas.
- Date: Wednesday 11th October 2023
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM WAT
- Venue: 8 Relearn Towers, Montgomery Road
- RSVP Here
Six teams will go to the next part of the program, where we will help them construct and market their ideas before the conclusion of the program. We have been collaborating with ten student-led startup teams from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and the University of Ibadan (UI) in Nigeria.
