Eko Disco MD, Tinuade Sanda, Celebrates Two Years Of Outstanding Achievements,

The Managing Director of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) Plc, Dr. Tinuade Sanda, has highlighted her remarkable accomplishments as she reaches her two-year mark in her role on March 30, 2024.

Amidst the conflicting interests of Shareholders, THEWILL brings to mind the recent controversy surrounding Sanda’s position as MD at Eko Disco.

However, Sanda remains resolute in her position as she eagerly anticipates March 30th to commemorate her two years as the MD of EKEDC, drawing inspiration from Michelle Obama’s words, “When they go low, we go high.”

Taking to her Instagram account on Friday, @tinuade_sanda, she shared the significant achievements EKEDC has attained in just two years under her leadership.

During Sanda’s tenure as MD/CEO, EKEDC has achieved a total collection of N14.9 billion as of March 28, 2024.

The impact of this milestone achievement is even more pronounced as Eko Disco recorded a peak collection of approximately N17.1 billion in January 2024 alone.

Despite setting an ambitious target of Aggregate Technical Commercial and Collection (ATC & C) losses at 11.85% in February, THEWILL reports that under Sanda’s leadership, the company exceeded expectations by achieving an impressive single-digit rate of 4% just a month later. The ATC & C metric reflects the efficiency of a disco’s operations.

In a post titled “Celebrating Milestones: Two Years at EKEDC’s Helm!”, she expressed, “As I approach my two-year anniversary as MD/CEO of EKEDC on the 30th of March, 2024, I am filled with pride over our victories against all odds: achieving a record collection of N14.9 billion as of the 28th of March, 2024 and reducing ATC & C losses to 4%.

“Our peak collection moment of N17.1 billion in a single month, achieved in January 2024, serves as a testament to our dedication and hard work. “These milestones have significantly propelled our service and efficiency forward.

After our strategy meeting in February 2024, we established an ambitious goal for ATC & C losses at 11.85%. However, we have exceeded expectations by reaching an impressive single-digit rate of 4% just one month later. Taking inspiration from Michelle Obama’s quote, “When they go low, we go high,” we embody resilience and hold firm in our belief that no goal or obstacle is insurmountable.
