GreenTec Capital invests into Nigerian logistics and ride-matching app, Drivers NG

GreenTec Capital announces an investment into Nigeria-based transportation and logistics app, Drivers NG, which provides on-demand drivers and mobility solutions for Nigeria and the African market.

Drivers NG was sourced by GreenTec Capital Partners Nigerian venture builder, David Ogundeko. The company will be collaboratively developed under GreenTec’s “Results4equity” model, leveraging on David’s local expertise and the extended network, expertise, and partnerships possible through the GreenTec Capital Partners network.

Drivers NG solves a longstanding problem of finding a trained, reliable, and trusted professional driver in Nigeria. The problem exists for both companies and private individuals. Drivers NG solves this problem by having the first platform focused on providing real-time mobility solutions to consumers in the Nigerian market.

Drivers NG offers its services on a subscription and fee-per-service basis, while managing the management and payment of drivers. Drivers NG handles the training, verification, and management of drivers, providing mobility services as a service.

This allows the company to create stable jobs to provide trained and vetted drivers through their platform. Already active in 12 Nigerian metropolitan areas and with more than 9,000 trained and vetted drivers, Drivers NG is well on the way to become Nigeria’s number one platform for mobility solutions in Nigeria.
