Moniepoint Inc, the leading digital financial services provider in Africa, has partnered with NITHub Unilag to announce the opening of applications for the second cohort of the highly competitive HatchDev program. This program, sponsored by Moniepoint, aims to produce 300 junior software engineers, 100 intelligent systems developers, and 100 IoT/embedded systems engineers on an annual basis.

The HatchDev program is a specialized training program that spans nine months and follows a rigorous recruitment process. It is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of technology. The program offers training in various areas including Front-end, Back-end, Mobile App Development, UI/UX Design, Data Science, and Embedded Systems/IoT.

Prospective participants are expected to have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and foundational JavaScript in order to fully benefit from the program. The deadline for applications is February 18, 2024.

HatchDev Full-Stack Development Training program

The HatchDev Full-Stack Development training is a key component of the program, aiming to equip participants with both front-end and back-end skills. It is important to note that the program requires a background understanding of HTML/CSS, programming fundamentals, and proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.

Upon successful completion of the six-month training, participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills during a three-month internship, gaining valuable real-world experience and further enhancing their expertise. This internship will provide participants with the opportunity to work on real projects and collaborate with industry professionals.

By the end of the training, selected participants will possess the comprehensive knowledge and portfolio necessary to embark on a successful career as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
